Overview

This page provides a list of crops that can be grown on The Farm. To grow them, you need to provide Fertilizer and water while also dealing with weeds and beetles.

Watering and fertilizing can be automated using Sprinklers, and animals can help take care of weeds and Beetles. Since managing everything manually can be quite a task, it’s a good idea to use these helpers when growing crops.

Additionally, having Everseeds, which regrow after harvesting, makes farming much easier. Try to collect as many as possible. If plants like ferns and trees grow naturally in unplowed areas of your field and get in the way, you can spread Gravel to prevent them. Gravel can be made from stone using a Rubble Refinery.

About Fertilizer

Some crops require Fertilizer to grow. You can obtain Fertilizer by crafting it in a Kiln using Wood, purchasing it from the Farmer’s Shop, or collecting it from Pigs. Fertilizer can be applied manually or distributed automatically using Sprinklers.

About Water

Crops need water, and there are four tools available for watering:

Watering Can
Garden Hose
Small Sprinkler
Large Sprinkler

A Watering Can is fine at first, but as your farm expands, even a Garden Hose may not be enough.

When that happens, setting up Sprinklers is the best solution. Sprinklers not only automate watering but also distribute Fertilizer if you load them with it, significantly reducing your workload.

The two types of Sprinklers cover different areas:

Small Sprinkler: Covers a 7×7 area
Large Sprinkler: Covers a 9×9 area

About Beehives

Some crops require a Beehive nearby to grow properly. Without one, their growth will stop, and they won’t bear fruit. The crops that need a Beehive are listed under the “Required Items” column in the table on this page, so be sure to place one when needed.

To obtain a Beehive, you need to purchase a Drawing and craft it using the required materials. The materials needed are 10 Mountain Resin, 10 Mountain Planks, 10 Mountain Flowers, and 1 Queen Bee.

A Beehive covers a 9×9 area.

Crop List

Table Explanation

All crops require water. The “Required Items” column lists anything else needed for the crop to grow. For example, if “Beehive” is listed, that crop requires a Beehive within range to grow.
The “Growth Type” column describes how the crop grows and what needs to be done for replanting. “Herbaceous” crops need to be replanted after harvesting unless they are Everseeds. “Vine/Stem” crops, which grow on supports or have sturdy stalks, do not need replanting and can be harvested multiple times with just Fertilizer. Trees function the same way, requiring only Fertilizer after each harvest.
