Collecting the Ancient Keys
Overview
First, head to the temple near the Town Hall, where you’ll find Dr. Archie waiting. He’s searching for the Ancient Keys, which are required to unlock the temple located in the town. These keys are hidden—one in each of the temples found in the Farm, Forest, Mountain, and Jungle regions of Luma Island. Your goal is to collect all four keys and deliver them to Dr. Archie.
This quest forms the core of the main story. Once you’ve gathered all the keys, you’ll be able to enter the temple and trigger a final event, after which the end credits will roll. However, the game does not end there—you can continue exploring the world, completing side quests, and enjoying post-ending content freely.

Event Inside the Temple
After giving the keys to Dr. Archie, follow him into the temple. A major event will begin, during which the player must choose between two options. Depending on your choice, the dialogue from Dr. Archie, Old Man Jeffrey, and various townspeople will change. However, the choice does not appear to significantly affect your rewards or game progression.
Note that one of the choices requires 15 specific Lumas—the ones originally available before the Pirate Update. Make sure you have all 15 of these Lumas in your inventory when you start the event. The three Lumas introduced in the Pirate Update (Octopus Luma, Parrot Luma, and Monkey Luma) are not required. If you choose this path, you’ll need to place each of the 15 Lumas on the circular pedestals arranged inside the temple.
This event ties back to the earlier riddles spoken by the Talking Stones, which subtly foreshadowed the larger story. While this marks a major turning point in the narrative, your journey as the player is far from over.
The Purple Chest Near the bar
If you exit through this doorway—which only becomes accessible after the event—you’ll arrive at the area near Bill’s Bar where the purple treasure chest is located.
As a side note, the purple treasure chest near Bill’s Bar—which has been visible since the beginning but was previously inaccessible—can finally be opened from this point onward. You can reach it by exiting through the path shown above. However, its contents are not particularly special.
